The bird of a Thousand Songs Giveaway

You’re in for a treat today because I’m hosting my very first giveaway! It feels like Junior High and I’m having my first party, hoping and praying that someone will show up.

                                                                   Check out the promotional video!

A little while back, I wrote a profile on author/illustrator Lizardo Carvajal and his Bird of a Thousand Songs. It has now become a published audio book; an enchanting tale about a mysterious bird that is able to mimic the sounds of all the other birds, which is sure to captivate children and adults alike. The app, which is downloadable through ITunes, is translated in 9 languages. It is easy to read and as a mother and a teacher, I consider it to be a profound teaching tool with endless didactic possibilities. From the trill of the Bicycle bird to the blare of the Trumpet bird, this audio book will lead you through the wonderful universe of the birds and their songs, as well as reflect on the meaning of finding your own song.
