Papergirl Vancouver

A few weeks ago, I came across a really interesting project on Poppytalk called Papergirl Vancouver.

Anyone can participate; professional artists and novices alike. The idea is that you send in your artwork, which may include drawings, digital art, photography, prints, sketches, poetry, zines, stickers, old sketchbook pages and textiles. The only catch is that your submission must be able to be rolled up for delivery. Your artwork will be exhibited beginning August 13th, 2013, then rolled up and delivered in the style of the American Paperboy via volunteer cyclists to unsuspecting strangers around Vancouver on August 24th, 2013. Cool, right?

As soon as I found out about this, I thought I should definitely submit something, but of course self-doubt crept in and I started telling myself: “You’re not good enough.” Then I read this message and am feeling encouraged to participate.

There are only two weeks left to send in your work, so get to it! thanks for reading!
