I’ve been painting up a storm these days so I was very intrigued when I was invited by Douglas Elliman Florida to take part in the Pantone color of the year challenge with the featured color, Greenery. With Spring coming, I love the idea of Greenery as the color of the year. It’s like a rebirth; a fresh new beginning after a long and cold winter. This mood board is a little taste of the possibilities. Since I gravitate toward painting furniture, I can see myself using greenery to paint a hutch or a coffee table to add an easy pop of color to any room, especially if you have a neutral color, like a creamy white shade. It’s amazing what a huge impact that even a small change can make. If you’re not ready to take the plunge and paint a whole room, start with some small accessories. If you’re not into Greenery as a paint color, check out the Pantone Color Fashion Report for fashion inspiration. Thanks again to Douglas Elliman Florida for reaching out! What are your thoughts? Would you give this color a go?
