I don’t know what it is, but every time I buy a new article of clothing, pair of shoes, hat or home decor item, I automatically gravitate toward pink! I tend to hover around the light pink/blush family, but anything is fair game. With Spring approaching (at a snail’s pace), I love the idea of sprucing up the ol’ wardrobe and the homestead with some pops of pink. Here are some of my favourites for the season.
I already have a similar chair to the one below, but mine was thrifted and a bit smaller. I love this one. It’s elegant, yet casual and I think it could fit with so many decorating styles. The pink is feminine but it doesn’t mean the rest of the room needs to follow suite. The geo print in the pillow gives a nice pop of color with its variety of pink hues.
For the clothing choices, they are all just easy pieces that can be dressed up or down and this type of pink really is a neutral that can go with everything. I especially love the motto jacket. I just found one that is similar at Winners for about $40 CAD! I am loving these earrings as well. It took some time for me to get on board with the tassel trend, but I am hooked. For me, coco mademoiselle is a breath of fresh air after a long winter in. I can’t wear it at home since Duncan is allergic, but it gives me the urge to get dressed up and wander downtown for a dinner date or a girls night. Happy weekend!
